About Ashes of Our Promise

When an ancient oath burns to cinders amidst the ruins of a shattered kingdom, two star-crossed young men must choose between the forbidden love that ignites their souls and the agonizing destiny that threatens to tear their world apart. In a beautifully animated realm torn by betrayal and relentless warfare, Ren and Haru once forged a quiet promise under the twilight sky. Bound by affection that dared to defy tradition, their lives were irrevocably fractured when an empire crumbled in smoke and flame. Years later, thrust onto opposing sides of a bitter conflict, the ghosts of their past refuse to stay buried. Every sword strike and fleeting glance reignites the passion and heartache they tried so desperately to forget. As dark secrets unravel and loyalties are tested to their breaking point, their devotion becomes their greatest danger and their only salvation. Can true love emerge from the embers of tragedy, or are they doomed to be consumed by the remnants of what could have been? Dive into a breathtaking emotional journey where honor, identity, and undying romance collide.

Do I need an account or an app?

No. Press play and watch. An account is not required, and the player works in any modern phone or desktop browser.

Does the next episode start by itself?

Yes. When an episode ends, the next one begins automatically. You can also swipe up on a phone, or scroll or press the down arrow on a computer, to jump ahead.

Can I continue where I stopped?

Yes. This browser remembers the last episode you opened, so the button at the top of this page changes to “Continue from Episode N”. Clearing your browser data resets it.

How do I save it for later?

Tap the heart or “My list” button on this page. Your list is stored in this browser, so it will not follow you to another device.

Why are the episodes so short?

Short dramas are made for quick viewing: each episode moves the story along and usually ends on a hook, which makes it easy to watch one more.

The video will not start or keeps stalling. What can I try?

Choose “Reload episode” if it appears, or refresh the page. A slow connection can stall playback, so give the grey buffer bar a moment to fill. If it still fails, try another browser or switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
