Empty Chamber

About Empty Chamber

Eighteen years after his mother’s murder, Keir Doran confronts suspected killer Narek Terzian with a loaded gun, only to hear an empty click and receive an unexpected six-hour truce. Instead of ordering Keir executed, Narek reveals that someone has just used Iona’s old credentials to breach VERSO, a clandestine surveillance database hiding corporate crimes and lethal secrets. Bound by an uneasy alliance, the grieving son and his calculating target dive into a shadowy underworld of deception, conspiracy, and lingering ghosts. As their pursuit unearths buried records and exposes the truth behind that fatal night, mutual suspicion transforms into a dangerous, forbidden attraction. Teaming up with an astute investigator, they uncover the real killer’s confession and prepare to dismantle VERSO from within. Yet vindication demands a devastating price, forcing both men to confront their own illicit choices and confess their past sins before the law. Six months later, awaiting sentencing in a supervised visitor room with an open door, Narek extends his hand, leaving Keir to decide whether genuine redemption—and love—can truly rise from the ashes of vengeance.
