About Going Straight At Last

After sacrificing eighteen years behind bars to protect his loyal subordinate Wang Bao, Lin Qingfeng walks out into a cold, shattered reality where his beloved wife is dead and his estranged daughter despises him. While Lin was locked away, Wang seized power to become a ruthless underworld kingpin, greeting his former mentor not with gratitude, but with cruel public humiliation. Yearning only for redemption and peace, Lin starts over from scratch, opening a humble neighborhood diner alongside a faithful old brother. Yet mercy proves impossible when dark secrets shatter his fragile sanctuary: Wang Bao drove Lin's despairing wife to suicide, while Wang's arrogant son relentlessly harasses Lin's vulnerable daughter. Pushed past his limits, the former legend abandons his quiet life and unleashes an unstoppable strike back. Backed by his rekindled bond with his daughter and the steadfast support of his new love Cheng Yun, Lin goes to war against the vicious criminal empire he once fostered. In an electrifying battle of vengeance, retribution, and survival, Lin dismantles Wang Bao piece by piece, crushing his ruthless tormentor once and for all to reclaim his rightful honor and forge a joyful new beginning.

The video will not start or keeps stalling. What can I try?

Choose “Reload episode” if it appears, or refresh the page. A slow connection can stall playback, so give the grey buffer bar a moment to fill. If it still fails, try another browser or switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
