About Melody Upon Fragile Ice

When a reclusive violin prodigy with deep trauma collides with a desperate college ice hockey captain, a fiery fake-dating pact sparks an emotional journey of mutual healing. Hannah is a musical genius trapped behind defensive walls, haunted by crippling PTSD that leaves her terrified of physical touch. Garrett is the fierce hockey team captain on the brink of academic suspension, suffocating under his domineering father's ruthless demands. Desperate to salvage his season and help Hannah catch the eye of her elusive senior crush, Garrett proposes a mutually beneficial arrangement: pretend to be head-over-heels in love. What begins as a convenient charade swiftly transforms into something undeniably real. Garrett's remarkably gentle, consent-driven patience begins to dissolve Hannah's guarded defenses, while her unwavering inner strength empowers him to stand against his family's toxic control. When her treacherous crush threatens to weaponize her past trauma, Hannah refuses to play the victim. Together on and off the ice, this kickass heroine and her devoted protector choose to face their deepest demons head-on, proving that even the most fragile ice can cradle an unbreakable, sweet symphony of romance, redemption, and soul-stirring devotion.
