About She Picks the Villain

When a depressed modern actress wakes up trapped inside a historical novel as the notoriously wicked Princess An Aiai, she resolves to lie low and escape her destined doom at any cost. To survive the vicious imperial court, she immediately dismisses her scandalous harem of consorts and ignores the icy disdain of royal bodyguard Song Ying. Operating entirely from the shadows, she quietly guides Song Ying toward the throne to secure her own quiet exit. But her careful survival strategy shatters when a captivating new consort named Nan infiltrates the palace. Nan is actually Xu Beizhi, the exiled prince of the fallen dynasty and the realm’s most ruthless mastermind. What begins as an explosive dance of hidden daggers, sharp wits, and mutual distrust soon evolves into an unexpected, unshakeable devotion. Xu Beizhi is ready to burn the empire to ash, yet he finds himself willing to surrender vengeance for her heart. Caught between court conspiracies and her own growing feelings, the reborn princess abandons the throne entirely. Defying the fate written for them both, she chooses the so-called villain, walking away forever into a life of wild, untamed freedom.

The video will not start or keeps stalling. What can I try?

Choose “Reload episode” if it appears, or refresh the page. A slow connection can stall playback, so give the grey buffer bar a moment to fill. If it still fails, try another browser or switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
