About When Summer Broke the Ice

When top graduate Summer is mistakenly assigned as the private carer for disabled CEO Gabriel, she never expects to find a suicidal recluse harboring a lethal secret orchestrated by his closest allies. Gabriel was once unstoppable, but a suspicious riding accident—and slow poison secretly administered by his treacherous ex-lover and deceitful best friend—left him shattered in body and spirit. Living in bitter isolation, he pushes everyone away until bright, unrelenting Summer enters his guarded world. Armed with boundless warmth, homemade cooking, and unwavering devotion, she slowly melts the icy walls protecting Gabriel’s wounded heart, reigniting his shattered will to live. As their bond deepens into tender, undeniable love, strange inconsistencies come to light. Together, Summer and Gabriel unearth the sinister conspiracy behind his condition, quietly collecting damning evidence to bring his greedy betrayers down. Through intense detoxification, gruelling rehabilitation, and sweet romance, Gabriel reclaims his strength and learns to walk again—ready to claim both his rightful empire and Summer’s forever.

Yes. This browser remembers the last episode you opened, so the button at the top of this page changes to “Continue from Episode N”. Clearing your browser data resets it.

How do I save it for later?

Tap the heart or “My list” button on this page. Your list is stored in this browser, so it will not follow you to another device.

Short dramas are made for quick viewing: each episode moves the story along and usually ends on a hook, which makes it easy to watch one more.

The video will not start or keeps stalling. What can I try?

Choose “Reload episode” if it appears, or refresh the page. A slow connection can stall playback, so give the grey buffer bar a moment to fill. If it still fails, try another browser or switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
