About Ashscale Queen: Oath of the Dragon

Treated as a cursed outcast in an empire that strictly ranks bloodlines by scale color, gray-scaled Seren expects nothing until the mythical Dragon Emperor Aldric defies tradition to choose her as his divine queen. For millennia, the elder council and noble houses have judged dragons by the brilliance of their scales. Cast aside by her father in favor of her revered silver sister Celeste, Seren endures years of cruelty in the shadows. But the grand mating ceremony takes a shocking turn when Aldric, the realm's first emperor in ten thousand years, completely ignores Celeste. In Seren, he senses the slumbering primordial dragon source that matches his own supreme martial aura. Their forbidden soul pact shatters the kingdom's rigid prejudices, awakening catastrophic ancient power buried beneath her muted scales. Transformed from a discarded daughter into an unstoppable warrior sovereign, Seren refuses to kneel any longer. Side by side with Aldric, she unleashes fierce martial fury against treasonous warlords, unmasks the corruption within the high dragon council, and forces the proud dynasty to realize that the outcast they despised commands the realm's purest divine legacy.
