The Substitute Wife Cleans House

About The Substitute Wife Cleans House

When tough Bronx butcher Evelyn is begged by her dying twin sister to secretly take over her glamorous Manhattan life, she swaps meat cleavers for hedge fund boardrooms to save a broken family from utter ruin. Stepping into high-society stilettos as an imposter CEO wife, Evelyn quickly discovers that luxury masks complete chaos. A cheating parasite of a husband, a toxic socialite mistress, and a venomous mother-in-law are circling like vultures, while three out-of-control stepchildren spiral through Ivy League scandals, prep school cruelty, and dangerous underground fight rings. But the elite picked the wrong woman to mess with. Armed with raw Bronx grit and street smarts, Evelyn throws high-society politeness out the penthouse window. She doesn't play passive games or beg for respect; she serves ironclad legal threats, dishes out unapologetic reality checks, and handles backstabbing aristocrats the only way she knows how—head-on. As the ruthless elite try to break her, this kickass heroine fights back to whip the spoiled heirs into shape and reclaim what belongs to her sister. The penthouse is getting a total overhaul, and class is officially in session.
